Kosice
Most of Kosice's historical sites are located in the center of the city which has been designated as an Urban Heritage Area. A pleasant walk down this area's main street, which has been recently refurbished, gives you the opportunity to see the historical architecture. Kosice has many sights on offer, including the wonderful gothic St Elizabeth's Cathedral and St Michael's Chapel, the Forgach Palace where the State Science library can now be found, St Urbain's Tower and Jakab Palace, amongst other things. If you are interested in the arts, then both opera and ballet are on offer in the State Theatre, which is also found in the center of the city.
